Like most other people in Hull I ended up going to the Freedom Festival events round the city centre so I remembered to take my camera to get some photos.

We were there for a good 6 hours. When I got in my legs where about to drop off, so I ended up watching the F1 Monza qualifiers. Even though it was a good day out the music wasn’t really my kind of thing… Maybe it’s because I’ve been listening to too much of TheĀ BeatlesĀ and Radiohead recently? (Although this duo of an Australian woman and this Local guy on the Clipper Stage really impressed me). So hopefully more Rock / Alternative music next time please?
Photography wise I think that was a very good day for me with their not been much happening recently. So hopefully I’ll finally be able to my Flickr with some interesting pics
Other than that there’s not much else to write about, there is induction day tomorrow, which will consist of getting us to do silly tasks to get us to know other people starting. Fingers crossed it won’t be a repeat of the dreaded toilet roll task from 2 years ago!

I have the same trouble with popular events; lots of fun to attend, but for indie kids like me, the music’s often kind of dull.
What’s the Freedom Festival?
Sorry its taken a bit to reply… i like to umm and ahh a bit before I write comments back!
The freedom festival is an event they put on each year to sort of promote equality (i guess you could say its a bit of a problem with some people who live here). There was a few famous acts this year (well sort of famous i guess) but they all fit into the sort of dance/pop sorta stuff!
